Hi Tarah,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I acknowledge and appreciate them.
My commitment to my readers is always to provide relevant and helpful content. I spend a lot of time researching before writing—first discussing the subject with other designers and then reviewing research papers to understand what is really going on.
If the purpose of this article were to sell subscriptions, I’d be a terrible marketer because this it's not about selling the UX career as the ideal path to go to. If that were my goal, I’d write a headline like, "How I Got a 50% Raise Just One Month After Switching to UX Design." But that’s not what I'm doing here.
I strongly recommend Uxcel to my friends and readers because they genuinely appreciate it and often thank me for the recommendation. If I weren’t receiving positive feedback about their product, I wouldn’t recommend it in my articles.
I get many e-mails from business reaching out for partnership, but I only pick what really resonate and are helpful to my audience.
I acknowledge your concern and thank you so much for sharing that with me.
Cheers!
