I Had a Hard Time Writing with ChatGPT — But I Finally Won the Battle
It was harder than I thought it would be, but now I know how to succeed
At the end of 2022, ChatGPT changed the way we used to prepare our writing, at least in my case, from the date Chat GPT was launched I started to try different ways to see how GPT could help me to write better and faster.
Especially faster…
I ended up with the opposite, my writing started to take 5x longer, revisions and changes of ideas were constant, and I would always change things at the end.
Chat GPT points and ideas were better than mine, it would make one correction on my text and I would need to fix many times to keep the angle.
It all seemed so easy for GPT to dig into any topic and present overwhelming ways of exploring different ideas, that making decisions became a slower process.
The more possibilities you have to write a topic, the more decisions you need to make, and the more decisions you make, the less willpower you are left with. Making decisions burns mental energy and that's not what we want when…
